Hi,
CC by SA 3.0 is perfectly fine to me.
Also, Zabin from OGA is willing to get in touch with Len to merge some own work with TMW one.
Something good might pop up with this.
Best regards,

Re: content for starting new servers
Hi everyone, Just read there that a single image is better off being dual licensed as speaking about CCby vs GPL, since CCby adds restrictions GPL won't tolerate, if I read correctly: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html#ccby To simplify for people doing such stuff (and I'm concerned), coul...

Re: Current Status?
Hi, Personally, I wouldn't want to start a new project using the old tmw GPL graphics, but rather graphics licensed with something more suited for graphics. I guess the main idea is here. The Liberated Pixel Cup made a great opportunity to create a new basic MMORPG world using Manaserv, permitting t...

Re: content for starting new servers
Hi Len, Yes, but, no. XD. I mean, every pieces there are put apart. Here, all the pieces seemed to be reworked (even slightly) to use a fitting palette, and so on, making it something relevant and consistent as a whole. This is not the case on Open Game art, right? But Maybe you wanted to give this ...

Re: Unable to create an ENet Server.
Hi,
Ablu's explanation is fine.
If you want to do it using the GUI, you'll have to go into this menu once the project is opened:
Project-> Build Options... -> Click on the '#defines' tab of the Compiler settings and add: ENABLE_MANASERV there.
Regards,
Bertram

Re: Unable to create an ENet Server.
Hi Visaboy, In the log you posted, Manaserv support is disabled: (And it seems you know it since you put a 'b' tag around it). Hi visaboy,
I must say I imported it (using my own sauce) some time ago, thanks anyway for pointing out.

Re: Unable to create an ENet Server.
Hi, As requested from Crush, I'll post in public: The problem is that visaboy seem to be trying to connect to the servers computer using a local ip (192.168.0.x) but from a computer that is external from that network. I indicated him to try to connect using the public's router ip, after seting up a ...

Hi all, I guess this is my turn to hijack this topic. ;) For the people not being aware of the whole history leading to this topic, the facts are those: (Correct me if I'm wrong) I'll try to stay away from emotional point of views: - 4144 joined the team a lot of time ago, as someone interested in d...

Re: Wishlist for ManaClient 0.6+
Hi all :) I personally liked it better to have only one button that worked as "Use" when a usable item is selected and as "Equip" when equipment is selected. As it is now, I unerringly click on those of the two buttons I don't need right now. Jenalya is right to me. We don't need...

Re: Wishlist for ManaClient 0.6+
Hi Big Crunch, Thanks for the relevant feedback: 1. The ability to shortcut spells/commands. This would be awesome for my GM commands. Indeed, the need has been summarized there: http://bugs.manasource.org/view.php?id=418 2. A 'Game Master' tab. Currently it is difficult to notice @wgm messa...

Hi all, Release done! It will be official in a few hours, I guess. :) You can already try it by downloading the win32 binary there: http://dev.themanaworld.org/downloads/mana-0.6.0-win32.exe We'll make sure to bug the linux maintainers about it, yet I think we'll need help on the mac release. Any he...

Re: branding help files update
Hi o11c, The patch is fine to me, in principle. Thanks!! I'd change this: + Mana, which develops this client and a future server, split off +to become a separate project from The Mana World, which produces +content (e.g. maps, graphics, sounds, quests) and maintains the +awful code from eAthena that...

Re: bug: paralysis of monsters solved
Hi, This is fixes for clientdata for manaplus what was rejected (or will be rejected) by some tmw people. Some features from here still not supported by "official" (tm) client. Sorry, but this is wrong as the code to support the <end /> tag is there in the src/resources/spritedef.cpp line ...
