Ban for try to use #command

Hi all , i'm new in the game . I follow the quest , and i don't understand well all because my english is poor . At the begining the quest are to equip the wand and try #iforgotthecommand , so i try one time , two times , i get out the house, i try again , i fight with an ennemy , and i try again and ... i'm ban

So it's not voluntary

If you type the same message again and again in a short time the server will give automatically give you a ban for 1 hour.
But AFAIK this should be after you received one or more warnings.
Also this shouldn't count for magic commands.

Did you forget to type the "#" maybe?
Or you misspelled the command itself so the server couldn't recognize it as a magic spell and therefore not treat your messages as spam.
