The fact that the way between Hurnscald and Tulimshar was blocked is mainly, at least what I think, for the newbies not to directly come to a new town : Hurnscald. I think it should stay like this even if the ferry costs a bit of money, its good for me like that.

not at all.
baseballboy wrote:The reason the land bridge was there was for lack of development for the transports. The land bridge was not part of the original world map outline. I tried to dig up a picture of it, but didn't give it much time. Hope this helps

I'm uncertain.

The poll, ATM, shows a majority favors the land bridge.
The majority could also be sock puppets for all I know.

On that tileset there were 2 transitions:
from desert to beach, and from beach to grassland.

Fother_J mentioned how the Red Scorpions have yet to be replaced with a proper beach crab monster.

Len seems to have been working on the Tulimshar area tileset.
Maybe the transition into beach will be updated.

Bringing back the land bridge would mean losing Jaxad0127's map
with the barrel house and mountain snake mini boss.

It would have the world layout plan to contend with again.
When deciding where to put a grave yard, Crush used the map.

There was a plan to remove the desert entirely.
Maybe it will be improved more instead.

If that lone mountain snake is meant to be a miniboss of sorts, why not use it as such? Have an NPC over there, and once you've registered at least one kill on the mountain snake (a la the bandit lord quest), the NPC will then be willing to let you try out the Intercontinental Ballistic Slingshot they just built (or something else equally goofy) that would take you to Argaes for free but without making a travesty of the world geography.

As the person that proposed that poll i requier please that a search is conducted to see if there is a sock puppet action that as be conducted.
if so act in consequence

now

thanks to all and any contribution that has been done on the post i am glad to see that so many people are working on it, and that it has produce communication and work in this way

groundwalk was between tulim and hurn
don't rethink all the work done
ground walk can be in any other part
not obligatoraly were it was
in tulimshar north of the city there is a bridge this bridge goes on left to port and on right to nowhere
can't this nowhere be used for a communication with hunrcscal world like arriving in north woodland close to guild house
then the labyrinth then sagatha is there and the old wizard

thanks

Sincerely

I'm all for creating a buzz, but this is almost vote tampering. -Mua, ha, ha they now must vote yes otherwise they risk missing something.

I like this idea. There is an area there that seems made for a ceremony of some kind and coincidentally has two large pillars that the Intercontinental Ballistic Slingshot could be attached to. :)
