On closer inspection, the wall behind the chest is not perfectly smooth - you found a hidden door!

The hidden door opens into a tunnel, which you follow until you reach a dead end.

I look around on the floor for a key or something

You don't find a key, but you do notice something funny about the wall. It's another hidden door!

I'm going to assume that you decide to open it.

There's something blocking you from entering the room! You identify it as a lichen. You also see a grid bug to the left. Description of the remaining items in the room can wait until you have finished combat.

You begin bashing monsters with your bare hands. Fortunately, the creature in front of you is only a plant (or fungus, or symbiote ... whatever), so you quickly kill it. After the lichen is dead, the grid bug moves to attack you. You get zapped. You kill the grid bug!

In this room you see: a lichen corpse, a pile of gold, a downward staircase, and a door.

You pick up a lichen corpse. You pick up 104 gold pieces.

The door opens. There is a goblin here. The goblin wields a crude dagger. The dagger welds itself to the goblin's hand!

You begin bashing monsters with your lichen corpse. You hit the goblin. It's not very effective. After all, a lichen corpse is not a weapon, and it's not heavy enough to do much bludgeon damage.

The goblin tries to strike you with the crude dagger, but somehow manages to miss you even though it's point-blank range and you're naked.

with my left hand, grab the goblin's hand that has the dagger; with my right hand, start punching him in the face.

You grab the goblin. The goblin scratches you with the crude dagger, but you hardly feel it. You hit the goblin. You hit the goblin. You miss the goblin. You hit the goblin. You kill the goblin.

You see here a goblin corpse and a cursed crude dagger.
(Note: you can pick up and throw a cursed weapon without wielding it)

The tunnel the goblin came through looks like it continues, but you can't see very far.

I loot the goblin's corpse (not sure if it's naked, but if it has clothing..), then pick up the cursed crude dagger and throw it as far as I can into the tunnel the goblin came through. I pick up the goblin corpse and hold it in front of me (just in case there are any sneaky archers ahead), and continue into the tunnel.

Even if the goblin had been wearing any clothing, it probably wouldn't've fit you.

The dagger slips as you throw it, bouncing along the floor instead of flying.

You reach a T in the corridor. You hear muffled sounds coming from the east. You pick up the cursed crude dagger again.
