Yes, I will: those other things are fauna which could realistically evolve (or be created) in a world with different parameters. Realistic doesn't mean "existing on Earth", it means "internally consistent".

I'm not suggesting large scale changes. Just remove the volcanoes from their current position on the cave map, and if you add them (probably breaking onto a surface map), don't have caves near them.
