even if your temple idea won't be used you will gain experience in pixel-art and that's good.... if u don't feel like finishing your temple idea, try something different.AxlTrozz wrote:As your advice, i went to the IRC and what they said is they are still working on the cleanup and they aren't sure about if this temple idea is going to be used or not and they don't have any assignments in wich i can help now, but anyway i'll try to finish my temple idea, may be in the future we can use it (the whole or even part of it).
Pauan: Do you have any idea in wich i can work with ? or should i continue the "temple" ?
Perspective is still off. Here, tell ya what... The main problem is the top. Try increasing the roof's height by about... oh, 7 pixels should do it. By increasing the size of the roof, it will help with perspective. Right now it looks like the column's start out ok at the bottom, but then they curve away from the viewer. Adjusting the roof may or may not fix that problem, but I know it will help. Also, the column's base doesn't look circular. Was that done on purpose? Likewise for the torch-spheres. A tip: use the elliptical select tool to see if your pixel art is 100% circular. It works very well, at least if you are going for a circular shape. Also, there is no dividing line between the wall and the floor. Yes, there is a one pixel dark line separating them, but that does not seem like enough. Try putting some dithered specks of dirt at the base of the wall, that will help to separate it from the floor. Also, I assume you are using layers, in which case I recommend making a new layer and putting 30% black shadows behind the columns. This will also help with the perspective.AxlTrozz wrote:well. now i have this
but still having found a way to crate the roof (over the wall) any suggestions ?
and i made and Ivy Plant to use in the wall
Who told you that? I don't think that plants growing at walls fit into an ancient desert temple environment.
No matter what Dave agrees on or not, I can almost guarantee there will be a sandstone temple. And even if there isn't, I CAN guarantee your tiles will be put to good use, so as Crush said, please do continue with it.Crush wrote:Who told you that? We will have at least one desert for sure and i don't believe that we won't find any space in it for a temple-themed dungeon. Continue with it, i am pretty sure we will have use for it.
