Axl is gone. He PMed me about resigning and has not responded since.

He felt people are stepping on his toes, as it has always been here for most artists, and left since he couldn't take that anymore.

So who is taking this one or is the completion of CR1 hereby endangered until further notice?

We need people to do separate tasks:
- Animated water + beach
- Cliff with with transparent background (to use with water and beach)
- Grasslands (we could adapt current one)
- Forests (we could use Len's)
- Academy walls and interior - that could be mine part
- Village

I'm not gone, I'll continue working and still in charge of the graphics for CR1. I discussed the situation with Rotonen, there are things I have to fix my self and other things I have no control over but I'll do my best to work around, sorry for this abrupt.

I'll try to be more clear and direct in the future.

I only have 3 tiles, but I can do another 2 or 3, that would give more variety.

I think the palette is ok, the char stand up over the tileset, Also we can use only one or two lines of cliffs.

And yes is fully tileable ;)

Cliff's tile looks nice. As you mentioned they need some additional tiles to diversify them. Transition cliff->sand sucks. Sand sucks. Water looks more~less ok.

and I really need some sleep :/

I really love water palette.

And I guess rocks/sand is still WIP.

I hate the stair style diagonal tiles on the game so I rather do more work but not that ugly effect

Edit2 : several pieces missing but you get the idea.. (off topic: we will need diagonal walking on the playerset)

and there is a way to make those cliffs taller in future? (I mean is it vertical tillable)

I've been thinking on create a small section inside the island forest of sick trees, invaded by parasites that cover the top of the trees.
I made a quick draft and color it.

Nice progress and I really like the idea of sick trees.
Although I do think the top border is still too straight.
