The sword in the cave won't talk, and I can't even see the sword in Dimond's Cove. What should I do? I'm using the latest release possible on Windows 7.

I'm level 30 and the black scorps normally kill me before I get close to talk to the sword.

But, if you use #lum and then a spell that gives no exp, and then #lum again, will the second #lum give any xp?

Do any of you guys know a good way to train by General Magic Skill from level 1 to 2? I'm trying to find a good spell that doesn't cost much and gives good xp
