I tried to pick it up a few times .....

its happened several times with different items....

Sometimes when I pick something up it still shows it as being on the ground, its in my inventory but its also on the ground...

I'm kinda stuck, I can't really leave the first town. I found a cave but everything attacks me if I go in there, so I'm kinda confused...
