The rocks in the upper left area look very blurry as if they were resized. Out of habit I had set the tile sizes to be 16x16 as opposed to 32x32. :oops: I later realized my mistake and resized the image, the side effect of which was that everything became very blurred. I definitely need to fix this...

I quite like this idea, but having an epic monster seems a bit excessive - maybe simple teleportation when the time has elapsed?

Does it only happen when you change maps (right after you appear on the new one)?
Hmm.. I think so, all the ones I remember were a few seconds after changing maps
