What happened to Golbenez?

If the quest is over, and the portal is not open, then can I have my 22k back?

The idea is:

1) If you are extremely rich, just pay him 5 Millions and save santa.
2) If you dont have money, collect white (30) and yellow (40) boxes so it will be equivalent to paying 5 millions.

Golbenez will accept only the boxes you get by killing monsters in the ice cave. You get them by script, since those items are not exactly dropped by monsters. In the beggining of the event the yellow boxes were being dropped by rudolf slimes, but it was not meant to be this way.

If you transfer the boxes from a char to another or use the boxes dropped by rudolf slimes, he will not accept them.

what about my 700k? if golbenez is gone and no portal has opened, then did he just rob everyone?
