The Aurora Society Event Kickoff

The Aurora Society has been quietly working away for the last little while, preparing for what we hope to be a series of weekly events. To kick things off with a bang, we'd like to invite as many as possible to participate in our first event, to be held on Saturday January 15th at 23:00 server time.

The event itself will be a manhunt/puzzle game. Several Aurora members will be hiding in various locations throughout The Mana World and finding one will provide you the clue to the location of the next. We will be doing this event with 2 level brackets: 1-49 and 50+.

For the 1-49 bracket, the event will begin in the Inn/Bar beside the Soul Menhir in Tulimshar.
For the 50+ bracket, the event will begin in the Bar in Hurnscald.

First prize for the 1-49 bracket will be a Warlord Plate armor.
First prize for the 50+ bracket will be 500 coal.

All participants will receive a random Jack O drop for coming out.

Perhaps this could be delayed until the next client release?
I imagine there will be a lot of new people on-line trying out 0.0.30.
Wouldn't it be nice if they were introduced to the game while an event is being hosted?

The translations are being edited, then I think the installer files will be cooked up and placed on the Downloads page.

why? this is a good test for the new client.. (someone told me the new client is much faster)
+new and older players can see that there is still action into the game..
and the new client can master it..

Well The Aurora Society will be hosting weekly events, ranging from simple Raids on Candor to more complex events such as this. So there should be ample opportunities to test and see how things go.
