Why Grey MP Bar?

Why is my MP bar grey all the time?
Can anyone give me some suggestions about solving the problem?

Since you have provided little information about what you do know, I will start with the basics:

1 - make sure you learned the magic skill
2 - any metal armor decreases your magic attack, unequip metal (armors and shield) until your magic attack parameter is above 0.
Once the magic attack is above 0 the magic bar will appear blue

That is the bare basics. I am sure there are others who can help you perfect your maging abilities

If learning magic is achieved by getting mana potion and then touching the mana seed, then I have done it. But now my mp bar is grey even if I have unequipped everything.

Thanks. I think that's it. But how much is considered overweight? I used to carry 8.22kg out of the max. 29.10kg.

After removing armor, it might take your character a minute or two to regain the ability to cast spells. Overweight isn't relevant.
