Just wanted to let you know that we are treating this case seriously and that we have internal discussions about how such a case can be avoided in the future.
Impeaching a GM is an option we are considering, but this will be the last measure. Currently we are trying to formulize strickter GM guidelines so that it is clearer for game masters and players what is in the responsibility of a game master and what isn't.
Where is this , or was it just words?

Re: Hmm..Fair or not?
IIRC, there were some discussions on IRC regarding GM Guidelines between some players, developers and GMs.
What happened was Platyna re-activated as administrator, removed several GMs and made the GM Suggestions forum.

ty for your reply.
Re: Hmm..Fair or not?
why was it never completed? The GHP has the right to veto anyone that is put forward. Why was it not added(the code) to the forum and veto anyone that does not agree to follow the code?Wombat wrote:IIRC, there were some discussions on IRC regarding GM Guidelines between some players, developers and GMs.

Re: Hmm..Fair or not?
Long story short, change of administration when this comment was made.
Here is what documentation was made from those discussions in regards to the guidelines. This guideline draft was scrapped with the change in administration.

Having read them, there is nothing i cant support here. Is there anyway to jump start this again?
Re: Hmm..Fair or not?
I was never "deactivated". I left TMW due to lack of time and understanding with Bjorn who wanted to try to be a community administrator.
Nothing is "unfinished", GMs knows how they are supposed to behave. And GHP has a right to veto those who were put forward in the voting.
I have set procedures and quite clear rules to avoid situations like that with Doorsman and Delasia. Now TMW GHP can look after the project well, but I am still final regulatory body for it, in critical cases (and there were none, if you don't count multiboxing rule that failed, and the system works very well for 2 years now).
What is was (and still is) my goal was selection of proper persons that wants to work for the project, and be objective, not to work to fullfil their personal ego problems like it often happens in similar projects. I am glad that TMW is doing managed to avoid it for over five years.
Regards.
