Alright, time for me to throw my hat into this 3 ring circus.
Before I begin, since Dayve and DarkWater seem to feel that everybody should be letter perfect and as meticulously detailed as a lawyer, I will say that the comment below is representative of my own views and not those of the development group, gm group, or the Phoenix Council guild.

First, I find it hilarious that Dayve seems to take such pleasure in pointing out the mistakes, oversights, and usage of tools (which may or may not be considered "abuse") for others when he obviously has no issue flouting or even breaking the established rules. As a known botter who obviously enjoys raising alt characters at the expense of others' enjoyment, this is a rather hypocritical stance to take.

Second, DarkWater continues to present misleading or outright false information in an attempt to vindicate her views. The case being repeated throughout this thread concerning Yubaba's supposed attack on her family member is a perfect example. She claims that developer access was used to do an ipcheck with the intention of harassment. This is outright impossible as the GM level given to devs does not have that capability. On top of that, Yubaba does not have that GM level yet.

To address the threats of both parties regarding activity in The Aurora Society guild on the parts of our GM members, I will state that the majority of our members opted to leave that guild (including Dayve, DarkWater, and her family) due to the excessive drama and conflict they caused. The statements in previous posts that the guild was disbanded or inactive for months is a complete lie. As some of you may have noticed, Frost, BC and myself were attempting to make something of the guild with events and higher participation and ran into resistance from those members. We pressed on and decided to remove them from having an influence on our goal of improving and furthering the game. Having a personality that desires to remain well informed, I log ALL chat both in game and on IRC while I am online. Should they decide to press the matter regarding "questionable" content from discussions in guild, I feel no qualms over returning the favor.

Those who know me will tell you that I am one of the easiest people to get along with, and I work very hard to cultivate that opinion. It really takes a LOT to cause me to use foul language, so it pains me to have to call this shitstorm for what it is: this is a flagrant attack against our GM's and developers who volunteer their time for the project, orchestrated by a pair of childish people upset about losing "control" over those selfsame volunteers. This bullshit has got to stop.

Haha, ya i was very happy with the response to my thread! in the first few posts from Prsm and Narus!

After that this thread turned into nothing more then a witch hunt, and almost total back and forth trolling.

The GMs have done nothing wrong at all in this thread and have answered questions and explained themselves very well. In a witch hunt like this be thankful the GMs were even willing to do that much, it is not required to respond to blatant personal attacks and what could almost be considered flaming.

On that note i thank our GMs for doing such a lovely job, i greatly appreciate your efforts!

The lie is that you left after we kicked out samesun. You continued to join us in the guild chat. You continued to try to tell us how to run the guild. You continue to spew your wild conspiracies about how everyone in the 'ghp' is afraid of you. You continued to take credit for any and every good change. You continued to tell everyone how you can 'take care of' platyna, and how she and wombat know better than to go after you. Basically you refused to let go. It is obvious that you continue to refuse to let go. You have claimed you've quit the guild, yet you still belabor things that struck a nerve with you. You have claimed to quit the game, several times, and yet you still hop on the forums to berate people and critique a game you havent ACTUALLY PLAYED in over a year. You continue to tell everyone how to change things for the better and yet you havent played since any of the changes have come out.

Do i use a custom client? Yes i do. So what?

Dark Water, you should go away and take your negativity elsewhere. I have defended your bad attitude and propensity for rabble rousing since the beginning. Always remember that you and dayve betrayed me, not the other way around. Your time has come and gone now, and no one cares.

Kandi look that up in your files and you will see she did.

Okay so I know you (to be clear, dayve and DarkWater) probably think I'm just as biased towards my friends as you've been claiming some of the GMs are, especially after the .. extensive number of threads I've decided to reply to in some of their defense. So, rather than jump to anyone's defense now, I just want to ask: Why are you being so much more critical of every action than you ever were before? I can't really say for dayve, since most of my 'encounters' on the forum with him have been over really trivial issues, and apparently more often than I thought behind a sockpuppet forum account or two. But DarkWater, before, while I usually did disagree with you, you brought up issues that were a lot bigger and of more concern to players, and you always had an intelligent reply. I can honestly say I don't think I've ever "won" any debate I've had on here with you, even if most of those threads ended inactive after the heat died down. While we often disagreed, I fully encourage people to question authority and stir up some sparks once in a while, and I appreciate a good debate lol. I simply feel like this direction of criticism, towards all 3 of the currently "often-active" GMs, will end up going nowhere, and will just continue to result in personal flamewars from old Aurora members, and anyone else who gets involved.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is, you seem to care about the game still to some extent, even if you're not around, or you wouldn't care how corrupt the developers may be, or what direction this game is going in. So while I can see where Narus' actions mentioned before were a bit open to question, using minor topics and possible infringements like these won't get anything done, or bring about any real change. If you're doing this because of what you claim Yubaba did (I say claim because I wasn't there, that's all), then have you made a topic specifically about that? Don't take this in a bad way, because I'm avoiding the whole internet grudge thing and mean no disrespect, I just think that if you wanna shake the system up a bit, that's good, but the way you've been going about it lately, in my opinion, is beneath you. Trying to make all of the active GMs (excluding Alons 'cause I never see him and Tiana because she's sneaky and avoids drama like a boss) look bad will only end in the game being more split playerwise, or in you making yourself look bad and discrediting your own causes. Not to mention, openly bringing up the client you guys certainly didn't have a problem with when you were part of the group using it, for what seems no other reason than to spite the other members you have problems with, is somewhat a low blow that won't inspire much support. Can you show where i am "much more critical of every action"? I do often ask for information. I do report action that break the rules as i understand them.

Ok, so you're saying while you think she did the right thing, you made an issue of it to argue for the sake or arguing? Or just to prove Prsm wrong somehow? I'm sorry, but it all just comes off too much as personal attacks. If you were both as fair as you try to appear, you would have been making these kinds of complaints ages ago, when you were all buddy-buddy with BC and Narus in TAS.

As for where you're more critical? Well, before it was mostly DW starting gigantic debate threads, and you dayve occasionally with one about multi-boxing, or botting, stuff like that. Yet in the past couple months I've seen a bunch of vaguely similar threads that all either come out as you directly saying some GM has done something abusive with his/her "power", or some new forum acct like say georgia boy, with "Hi, I'm definitely not the same person who's started 3 of these topics already, but I Just Happened to notice in the GM log this command being used. etc etc, I think this is abuse from a GM." It's boggling my mind how many topics of the same tedious stuff have come up lately, and they all seem to center around your own personal grudges rather than the well being of the game. So, if you're going to push the same tired topic over and over, as yourself or "anyone else", at least don't make it sound like it's all for the sake of the game or something nice, because noble causes aren't supposed to always end in namecalling, and bringing up things you have a grudge about.

Sorry if that wasn't as nice as my last post, but my point remains the same - venting about past grudges and starting flame threads against the GMs regularly won't do much to encourage people to listen to what you're actually saying, and I don't think that's what you want.

Yeah well, lets make a rule against playing, OK? If you gotta whine about little stuff there is no way you will ever enjoy a game, especially an MMORPG. Everyone is a different person, you can not change how someone may behave, you can't "impose" your will over another player. In case you find someone's behavior towards you "undesirable", you are free to use the ignore function, when you find someone's behavior "offensive", you report them.

Also in your screenshots I don't see any offense? He's just following you around. All you had to do was right click on him and click ignore, or if you use 4144's clients you could have Nuked him. Besides I hate how rules say "Scamming is not an offense, players just play their roles". Well in this case I think its more relevant. He's just being him.

It is abuse if they ask you to stop, then they move to sit somewhere else, and you follow to sit on them again.

Since today any discussions about GM administrative decisions are not allowed besides Court House forum. And on Court House forum they are allowed in form of reports, containing evidence and upholding to other standards of that forum (as they concern any report about any player).
