Re: Question about experience increase.
Potentially. The pool of experience a mob gives on death is increased with the number of players that were fighting it. It depends on relative damage dealt and how many people were fighting the mob already.

Re: Question about experience increase.
The damage multipliers are:
1 player: 1.0
2 players: 2.0
3 players: 2.5
4 players: 2.75
5 players: 2.9
6 players: 3.0
So if all players do equal damage, the exp per kill remains the same with one or two players, and decreases thereafter. However, the time it takes to kill the monster decreases.
If one of two player does less damage than the other, then that player's per-kill exp will decrease. However, the exp per time will still increase.
