I tried both Diablo 1 and 2 and both of them didn't hook me for some reason. Considering how the whole gameplay got dumbed down a lot in Diablo 3 (so I read) I will pass on this one.
  • former Manasource Programmer
  • former TMW Pixel artist
  • NOT a game master

Please do not send me any inquiries regarding player accounts on TMW.

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

Keep in mind before buying it, diablo 3 is online only. =_=...so if your internet cuts out no game play.

Yeah, that sucks a bit. But the pros are:

- your save games are always saved and "synched" across all your devices (e.g. play with the desktop at home and notebook at work)
- your friends can always a join a game you are in
- if your internet connection is lost the game quits :P

But never had a problem about losing connection since the beta - except with the 24 hour reconnect and server downtimes :(

But all in all, its great, and I think Blizzard will lighten up a bit on the always-online-requirement, like all other DRM games have.
