I'm just reached lvl 72 and i'm playing as a mage (i was a speed archer) by a couple of weeks. I'd like to have some advice about stats and in game strategy becouse i feel strange in mage suit!

Stats:
The best way that i've found is to equip an int ring, grimoire, staff, sorcerers robe, and wizard hat. Then get your int stat to 100, no more no less.
Once you have your int stat to 100, you have a choice to make. You can become a speed wizard, archer wizard or tanked wizard. All of these choices keep Astral Soul as the skill Focus.
Speed Wizard - Agility is your secondary stat. In my experience this will level you the fastest, but your ability to survive is limited until you get close to lvl 90. Get Agl up to 100, then begin adding in vit. This will allow you to have a faster casting rate with ingrav, and the vit will allow you to absorb more accidental punishment. This is purely an offensive build for leveling.
Archer Wizard - Dex is your secondary stat. I use this build if i feel that i will need a mixture of levelling and gathering. Arrows are far less expensive than iron ore. With this build i tend to match my dex and my int, meaning i use 80 int and 80 dex. This allows you to use arrows to gather items and magic to level in the graveyard. This is a utilitarian build.
Tanked Wizard - Vit/Luk are your secondary stats. This build is more difficult to achieve, but offers the most options. You will need to keep your full armor set on your character and be ready to switch to the armor at a moments notice. The gist of this build is to have 66 luk, and however much vit you can afford. This build will allow you to be the main healer in a group at the chapel or level anywhere you choose. You can also, once you get Vit to where you are comfortable, add some small amount of Dex and gather as a warrior. I use this with my Big Crunch character. This is by far the most survivable build, however the most difficult to achieve.
