It prevents mages from losing all their mana on players that don't need healing.

I think most mages would look at it as taking away from them rather than giving them a benefit. Personally i dont care. I cant remember the last time i ran out of mana in the gy

The mage who doesn't heal people is a NOOB. It's pretty clear that leveling as mage is the slowest thing to do but you shouldn't hate on archers for getting high xp.

Being a mage requires items and money to buy them, so it's hard to level as a mage.

I also have another char which has all the skills set to level 9 and I play as speed archer or rage warrior, I use it to get items for my mage.

I play this game for a couple of years now and all I can say about the different paths of leveling is this:

Archer - It's the easiest class to play, every noob plays as archer, gets high xp even from low levels but he has to buy arrows, concentration potions and iron potions for the maximum effect. Can't kill JackO or Yetis (very hard) and gets owned by mobs if he is alone.

Warrior- Slow xp, no additional cost, boring, safest class to play as you don't die very much. Kills most of the monsters alone

Mage - Medium xp, costs very much to play as one, can kill every monster in the game easy but also gets killed by very large mobs. Because mages can heal I consider them to be the most important class in this game and people should respect them because they save their asses

I FTFY too...

Levelling as a speed mage brings way more exp/min than as an archer, maybe not than an archer with potions and the banshee bow, i haven't tried this yet.

And the only mob an archer can't kill is the Jack'O, yetis aren't that hard at all if you take care a minimum of them and of your environment.
Also, i've already seen an archer killing a Jack'O alone, without the banshee bow. That was long, but that's not impossible... This means an archer can kill every mob, alone.

you can also use sandpaper instead of toilet paper, it will get the job done.

Archers are limited and that's a fact.

And so does a rager warrior now, but before the items people complained mages were to powerful....either way someones going to complain.

banshee archer does a regular archer does not. i think the issue here is you perhaps have not ever been able to max both agi and int which is necessary to beat archers in xp

regards,
a raging warrior but without bull helm will make about 35k xp a minute if they know how. with potions ive clocked as high as 90k but not constant. mages can get a constant 50k using ingrav in the right places amd this without the new robe. so i wouldnt necessarily say a raging warrior gets more but a raging warrior can get a consistent and fairly cheap level of xp quite comparable to a mage
