TMWC seems to be doing a good job running the game. Why can't you just sit back and watch the show? The remote control is in someone's else hands. If one of them wants to make a valid tweak to a rule and comes to the forums to show it to everyone, that's fine by me. At least it's being said to the community. The rule says "first offense ... then second offense ...." and

And I followed the actions for "first offense" as applied to "main account".

For several rule violations, it is documented that "first offense" is a warning, but this one does not document that.

The reason I used the word "extend" was because the server host is not a GM/Dev/Admin, and because this offense was on IRC, not in-game or in-forum.

I would be quite welcome to any argument as to why the particular rule does not apply in this case; however, the rule itself is not new.

I sort of agree with the locking of these threads. It's not helpful to keep reslashing at wounds. It's just creating a bigger, nastier mess. At least they aren't hiding them away, so whatever you wanted to try to stir in the first place can still be seen by players.

No you are right, you never had to steal that...you ALREADY had all the power and the files. So what was there for you to ever steal? You had slowly, over time, gained almost absolute control over this project as the other founding members left.

It's a complicated situation but it seems like most of the people agree that this is for the best. Could TMWC have done it differently? Sure. You and a few others have obviously had their feelings hurt. But it's not like it was a hostile take over, it was more that this project outgrew itself on the leash you were keeping it on. You weren't there to feed it or water it or to play nice with it...so it left. What else did you expect to happen?

I am not causing problems, problem were caused by the people who instead forking own project stolen mine, and now are trying to destroy the fundaments of it.

TMWC was advertised as an alternative to my "absolute rule", it was supposed to be based on mutual respect (I can't imagine something that is supposed to be based on respect while being created with such disrespect).

First of all TMWC stolen data from the only active project admin, then they started the insults, next they started to treat other long time contributors like crap. meanwhile locking all topics they didn't like just because (no rules has been broken), and now we can see that o11c by himself (where is that promised, democratic way of conduct) is changing the way the rules are being applied and selling cheap explanation that TMW IRC channel is not TMW community.

Oh my, Franz Kafka would have a great material for a book here. ;-)

I hadn't all the power, because if I had this move would be impossibe. The power I have granted has been abused. No one owns a GPL'd game, however I do own the server files.

I do diminish the good I did? By defending the community I built from a bunch of abusers with no morals? o11c and MadCamel were abusive not once, while Frost was accusing me of ddoses and treating me with police and all the courts of the world.

The major difference is that even me hadn't all the power (for example I had no influence on the development) and now there are many persons who has ALL the powers. And the sole purpose of that move was to make it happen, because I was not allowing it. Now you are a sycophant of that current ill system.

I still don't see any justification to your 'theft' claim, seeing how you did give people permissions to read (=make copies) of all the files.

And who gave you permission to have the ability to have permission over something that a group of people work on collectively? Oh right, it was those same people who left and have little interest in the project. So their votes do not count anymore. What counts today is what the people who add content and develop this project. They did not steal this project from you, they rescued it from stagnation.
