[Poll]LazyTree

Post by Rubikon_ »

It would be better if you can add !lastseen "Player Name" command and a command !msg "player name" to write a pm for someone and when he be online lazytree will send him the message.
This was on TRADEBOT so it would be nice to have it on lazytree too
Edited and make it with vote.

I think that could be a nice feature to add but I am not sure how simple it would be to do as it depends upon somebody still having the code to tradebot. I know the code for the original confused tree was lost ... maybe this would be a better question to ask a dev than post to the forum as I doubt this would be easy to code if it has to be rewritten from scratch.

No.
Someone once said to me between the lines " You are unwanted here anymore, you are rude, arogant, ignorant, stupid, annoying and worthless person."
And all i can say about it Yes i might be... but that doesnt matter i dont have other feelings different from almighty hate and anger... but in the end its pointless to explain myself.

https://github.com/hairyape/crazytree is the main repo.

Wushin is currently running the tree. I've asked Trav to see if they can add this feature as I think it's gotten enough votes without anyone having a major complaint.

I also like the idea of this feature as well.

I don't think that anyone but LazyTree's original author could do it. The reason is simple: LazyTree/CrazyTree was written in Scheme programming language, which is not very popular. It would be more convenient to extend ManaMarket's features, for example add !lastseen and !mail commands. ManaMarket is written in Python, a more commonly used programming language. I could even code it myself.

Auction Bot used to do those things. I'd have no problem with allowing MM to do those commands.

I have a serious problem with the probability of somebody on the server side being able to read user messages.

I vote no.

What do "public" logs have to do with anything?

Umm... general chat just kinda works that way...

I mean I don't see how we are supposed to chat without everyone in hurnscald being able to see what everyone else is saying...
