Well, if people game your events, you should just take it with a smile. You, your events, and the TMWC apathetic attitude to everything that doesn't agree with them are probably boring a lot of people, too. You promised change, but really it turned out to be more of the same, just with new faces in the boss chair. That is the definition of disappointing for anyone with a conscience, empathy, or a sense of fun. This is precisely why I dislike revolutions and I always caution against them; a lot of people get hurt, but nothing changes except the faces in charge. Still, it was interesting to watch it play out, and at least in pixel-land, the damage is confined to pixel-land. Good deal.

That signature file wasn't meant to be a signature file, it was a quote from Platyna saying what she thought of me, I can't own it, I just used it.

I am not quitting in anyway shape or form, I just choose to spend less time trying to convince people That I can never convince and helping the people I can truly help.

I do believe the only thing I ever promised in the game was to do my best GMIng and I have made mistakes, hence my apologies on the forums when I did. But making mistakes is human and I am okay with that.

My issue wasn't with your GMing overall, it was with what you specifically told Adrena, fingering Platyna for stuff which by definition she can no longer be held responsible and making yourself into an "I only enforce the rules, not make them" when it's obvious you are not only a GM, but also a TMWC (which does make the rules). You came off as evasive, sarcastic, and disingenuous, which I called you on. That's all.

You probably think I relish every chance to bring up the Platyna server-move crap, but nothing could be further from the truth. I was pissed at YOU for bringing it up with Adrena in a totally un-necessary way. You were essentially trolling a player you had already banned, with crap that had nothing to do with the situation and could not help the situation, either. I play the role of investigative reporter / "watcher of the watchmen" here, and I called you on what you didn't need to do, something you did that made the situation worse. And instead of you trying to pretend that you have nothing to learn, or that I was trying to prove some years old crap that is no longer relevant, maybe you could have instead paid attention, read, and understood what I was really trying to tell you about a situation you created and made worse, un-necessarily, right here in the present. Maybe if you re-read what you actually wrote Adrena, you can come to understand what it was that you said to that player, that didn't have to be said, and that made things worse, instead of better.

that is one view, Adrena brought up she wanted Platyna back in charge.
He also brought up two issues, one on a spell, the other on speaking english in public.
Both calling me out on point.

I tried to bring back to point, that i wasnt tmwc at the time, and it was under Platyna.

I read it all, and please, you are a master communicator, you easily could have chosen smarter replies that didn't lead into more trouble.

Regarding Platyna in charge:
Either no answer, or: "She's not coming back in charge, just please deal with it. That's how it is."

Regarding itenplz:

or heck, he is probably correct, and just change the skill name. No need to move the blame elsewhere. You guys have the power to change it in the here and now, and no one else does.
Or evasive (but not destructive): "No offense to any group is intended by any part of TMW, but due to critical staff shortages in this volunteer free game, we have no timeline on any specific changes. You can advocate in the dev section, or better yet, become a dev, and help us to make the changes that would improve the game experience for all."

Regarding English in Public:
"It's a long standing rule to prevent chaos in public and to allow enforcement of chat violations (scamming, bad language, etc.) that cannot otherwise be enforced if we allow languages that we cannot understand. Notice how I did all of that without once mentioning Platyna, her regime, or pretending that GMs are powerless non-members of TMWC (which is not so).

You can get your point across, without the stuff that causes trouble, and more-over, I know that you are smart enough to already know this. I have seen your good work, when it pleases you to do good work, so I know of what good you are capable, when you so desire.


P.S. You are the one that steered the itenplz and English-chat into Platyna territory. He was merely complaining about those two specific things, and you basically responded with ... it's not on me, those are from Platyna's time, so go bug her. I already gave examples above how you could have steered it somewhere different, constructive, and away from trouble.

P.P.S. Why didn't you just ban him for abusive language as it would be understood in English, and be done with it? Why go for this phoney baloney chat-bot business, that only served to weaken your case by making you look like you were stretching for a reason, when you already had a perfectly simple and valid reason right at your fingertips. Did you even believe your own chat-bot investigation? Wow, so much simpler just to say "you said C... that is not allowed because in English it is a forbidden bad word in public places, those are the rules, you are banned, end of story."

The issue was resolved with Adrena about a week ago already, i am locking this thread, better late than never.
