Arrows: terranite vs bone ?

In terms of total damage per second, which arrow is best? The "Critical Damage +10" (in Terranite Arrow) would happen in my every attack or would only be applicable when i make a lucky hit?

In status window, under "extended" - the DPS value is being shown the same no matter what type of arrow i'm equipping.

I tested this; My hits sparkled little more frequently with terra arrows than normal arrows; then on the new test server i gave myself banshee (+ normal arrows) with which my hits sparkled very frequently.
