i am not sure if all the 3rd party libs we are using support symbian.
PhysFS, libxml2, zlib and curl say that they would be portable to almost everything that can multiply six by four. those shouldn't be that problematic.
SDL does unofficially support symbian. It should work, too.
But guichan is the library that is almost always making trouble compiling. i would really be suprised when it compiles without any problems on a smartphone.
about the game itself: it is designed for a display size of about 800x600 pixels. i doubt that it would still be playable when resized to the display size of an average smartphone.
but isn't playing an online game on a mobile phone quite expensive anyway?
Sorry for the offtopic chitchat, but to prove the point of the plausibility of smartphone platforms as a future target platform for us: I've got a chance of getting a static 1mbit/1mbit 3G internet connection for 15 euros per month. (I just don't have the need for it and hence I don't have it, but I still have the chance to do so if the need arises .)
