TreasureHunt weekend in progress [treasure found]

Post by Hello=) »

Treasure Hunt event/quest has been reseeded. Who will be lucky enough to find treasure this time? Treasure is quite worth of it and battle been adjustted the way at least 2 diggers can try concurrent digging sessions if they interleave it, sharing chance to hit right spot. Now quest also marks already digged spots by holes in ground, GFX for holes is courtesy of HoraK. In fact it now possible to dig "any" location but most holes would collapse over time. In this battle however they serve to mark already explored tiles.

So far ppl digged beach a bit already - but treasure not yet found. More lengthy description how this event/quest works: viewtopic.php?t=21795

Okay, after 2+ days of intense digging luck finally shined to ginosuper who found right tile and digged out main reward. "Support team" around obviously got some "collateral" booty as well. Not as cool as main reward been, but still, who'd object to fill their bags by valuable things, yarrrr?! :)

On side note, next screen codenamed "TMW Swiss Cheese Edition". It showcases semi-permanent digg holes in action, Treasure Hunt now uses them to mark digged locations. Kudos to HoraK who pixeled me these NPCs. Actually digging using Legendary Shovel now leaves visible marks like this "anwywhere" but they would "collapse" over time, unlike holes marking Treasure Hunt area exploration.

So where exactly was it??

Kids these days will never know what it's like to trade Pokémon over a link cable.

Its 003-4 - accessible via Time Traveller in Tulimshar. In that version of timeline pirate ships were not scuttled by players yet (as NPC on map with time traveller shows).

Treasure location marked by special looking hole (after treaure claimed ofc). So I stand right near treasure spot on screenshot. You may want to open image in new tab to get it to full zoom.

I've never seen a beach devastated like that. It's unpolite to leave those holes uncovered: someone may trip on those.

Technically I can make shovels being able to remove holes as well, but I can foresee some players could annoy others by removing holes in Treasure Hunt area of interest. Perhaps something could be invented though, like only allowing to do so after treasure found. But it would feel like artificial limit.
