Animated water tiles

Hi i am currently making animated water tiles in pixel art and i was wondering if anyone knew of any good sources to get information on this. for instance tutorials or maybe something similar to this...

where i can see examples of work that i can examine in order to get a better grasp of how tiles like this work, oh yeah preferably isometric tile animation.

thanks very much! the tutorials by the japanese guy are excellent even tho after the translation they read like a Haiku poem!
