im seeing now the new particles in the cave snake, and they are awesome, very nice work from the people of TMW!

That's none of the promised particle effects but just an update of the snake sprite. You are still using a 0.0.22.x client.

The 0.0.23 windows installer with the particle engine will be release later.

But I notice another thing on that screenshot: There is the wrong minimap image. That bug has to be in there for months. We got players who spent hour after hour in that cave to get their blue pants and noone thought it would be necessary to drop us a line. Why are we doing public alpha testing when noone feels responsible for reporting bugs? Quite sad. Anyway, i'll correct that now.

Hm, interesting. I wonder if that minimap was wrong in the last version too.
