Key Assignments

I was just wondering if there was a way to use/create your own key assignments for ingame besides getting a programmable mouse. If there is if you could explain that would be awesome! Thanks.

Don't anticipate it too much. The list of unresolved issues is long and there are a lot of things that have a much higher priority. But if some programmer feels like programming it (it doesn't seem that complicated or tedious to me and would be a good entry task to get involved in the project) it would be welcome.

I would love to help with programming, but I have no experience and i wouldn't even know where to start with something like that. But I think you guys should take the compliment because The Mana World has come a loooong way from when I was introduced to it.

I finished Ingame-Config for Gamepads last week

So, if you are using a gamepad/joystick you can patch tmw with:

(read the comments for all changes...)

Unfortunately I'm new to GUICHAN and so it was only possible for me to do the configuration like that:
- press "Set" button for action#1
- press key X
- press the "Set" button for action#1 again to stop.
-> Key X is bound to action#1 ...
(Key X = last pressed button before hitting the set button again)
