who likes skirts on sale?
Re: who likes skirts on sale?
I think the other rares should be made accesable to. And I think there should be a moneycut as soon as possible.
Re: who likes skirts on sale?
Well doing so would make them un-rare and I don't think that all the rares should be easily gotten. Perhaps the T-Necks and Winter Gloves could be made available but not things like V-Necks or certain event hats.
The longer an item has not been accessible the rarer it becomes. Perhaps the rest of the Christmas rares could be made accessible but should be done in a way to allow 1 char. to get only 1 of. Like in a quest(s) of some kind.

Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. Has anybody seen this princess I'm looking for?

Re: who likes skirts on sale?
The skirt has been made available through a shop because this was the explicit wish of Saphy who made it.
I am not sure if it is a good idea to make all the rare hats easily available because they are a memento of a lot of events we did in the past. But it maybe couldn't hurt to make some available when at least one of every event stays unobtainable.
Suggestions about how to bring them in the game are welcome (people who write the eAthena scripts for the suggestions are even more welcome).

Re: who likes skirts on sale?
I don't have any problem with skirts being on sale.
Shouldn't they cost more than 1000 GP though?Crush wrote:No, they shouldn't be stronger because they are much easier to get. They should have a higher defense rating then the jean shorts thou. (Being as leather is tougher then denim)
Re: who likes skirts on sale?
Or shouldn't they give less defence?

Re: who likes skirts on sale?
That's a good idea. Let's see, Cotton Shorts are +2 and 1000 GP (someone correct me if I'm wrong), so +2 Defense for Skirt would be fair? Or maybe adjust both the price and defense... +3 for however-much GP?
Re: who likes skirts on sale?
Or we could just have some of the event items drop from monsters (lets say 1 in 50,000 drop rate)

Re: who likes skirts on sale?
I think that rares must remain rares at all
Re: who likes skirts on sale?
My solution keeps them rare and allows anyone who is willing to suffer an eternity of hunting to get them...Shaili (a.k.a. tds) wrote:I think that rares must remain rares at all

...or get really really lucky.
I think it's a good idea so long as only some of the old rares are dropped.

I really like this Idea.Len wrote:Or we could just have some of the event items drop from monsters (lets say 1 in 50,000 drop rate)
It would provide: "De facto quest(s)", where many are needed.
I would suggest even rarer drops for some items...1:100,000 for eye patch, antlers, goggles,
and tree hats.
This would introduce new inventory, without distroying player investment.
This will help build a larger player base, I LIKE THIS IDEA VERY MUCH!

Re: who likes skirts on sale?
But I think some1 should make it to were if a monster dies who ever delt the most damage sees the drop first like maby 10 seconds later every1 can see drop or els noobs would steal your drops like they already do
Re: who likes skirts on sale?
Personally,I believe that the best items should be player made or extremely rare drops. because I hate the idea of unique event items, people always horde them during the event and sell them for an ungodly amount soon after.
I believe this has already(or is being) dealt with on the new serverBut I think some1 should make it to were if a monster dies who ever delt the most damage sees the drop first like maby 10 seconds later every1 can see drop or els noobs would steal your drops like they already do
