Black Scorpion's damage @ 55 vitality + all best in-game armor: miss to 1
Snake's damage @ 55 vitality + all best in-game armor: 9 to 11

Might be a lot easier... though you'd still have the problem of large groups of scorpions teaming you and adding up the damage.

I don't think snakes are a problem for melee fighters (I usually keep my schyte at all). Maybe we can implement some kind of new monsters ;)

In fact, there are no long-range-attacking monsters by now XD

I don't think scorpions are better for "fighters", rather I would say they are better for lower levels.

About long ranged attacking monsters, aren't sleep flowers long ranged? Either that or they have a tendency to lag up and hit me long after I left :)

ps: Also let's not forget, the initial idea was to have a place so hard, people would be forced to team up to get trough it. Just because some die hards like to go solo, doesn't mean you should to :)

Only the giant maggot has a higher range than the others.

I've just been the map, and it's amazing! ^^

I'm at level 66 and I face with some problem this huge amount of snakes, but it's so challenging! XD

Then, I saw a sort of laboratory, in the snake cave. What about placing here a NPC, a legendary blacksmith? Teaming will be encouraged by the possibility of reaching this NPC, which could have a high level items' shop or maybe send for some quest for protective items (I really want an helmet XD).

*~NEW IDEA~*
We should have a tunnel/cave connecting the mines to the snake cave. We could use the spider web entrance for tunnel. The tunnel would progress in difficulty as you get further towards the snakes.

Just another idea >^._.^< meow

I'd second that.

Remember people--This cave is designed to be hard.

If you want to die quickly, then go ahead and go alone. Otherwise, grab a party(this is an RPG after all)

If you cant find anyone to help you, just wait outside the cave entrance for someone to come along. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I dont think anyone already going would mind having an extra party member. We're here to play together right?

P.S. I'm normally online around 18-20 GMT

Crush, it's just that it really is a leap from the Miner's Cave to the Snake Dungeon, like Steve said.

The more times I played the snake dungeon map, the more I understood how to play it... party together with more than a few other players.

Again, don't change it, but it feels like it was changed or maybe I just "got it".

The leap from mines and snake dungeon are filled in by fighting flowers and evil mushrooms or fighting at the beach. :)

Like the challenge and a new goal to aim for. I was really bored with the mines. I will see you in the cave or at the start. Ha ha.
