Go to Start then Run and type "cmd" (without quotes). In the new window, type "tmw" (without quotes). Post what it says.

Try disabling opengl by replacing the existing line in config.xml with this one:

-I have a PIII 600 with 128 mb of ram and 20 gb of hard disk
- windows XP , SP2
- ati raideon with 8 mb of memory
- 32 bits in the video configuration

Did you try a clean install?
Did you change something lately or installed other applications?
Can you update your video drivers?
