Side view isnt finished yet. (wings, head, mouth, shading, almost everything is wrong :P )

Original idea (as far as I can tell), interesting concept, and the sprite looks good so far from the artistical point of view. Go for it!

Any idea how it attacks?

I haven't decided yet, but this are the options that I came up with:

- Tongue (can paralyse someone?)
- Teeths (a bit to standard IMO)
- Magic

A sword tongue to rapidly stab you while it slightly bobs up and leans forward while rushgliding that half a tile towards you...?

Also animating this one just hang around and move in the air is going to be so much fun. :twisted:

It could paralise the enemy / poison it. But a sting would work too. I'm currently redrawing the side view and I'll give it a sting to see how it looks like.

I'd say let's implement both.

There is ultimately nothing saying that there can be only one attack animation per monster. It's up to you artists to do them, though.

Having multiple attack methods is even encouraged for monsters on TMWServ.
