There is a trade canceled spam fix that is mentioned above. I'm told that it works, it will probably be included in the svn soon. While Spammer might try to pester you more seeing the ignored indicator if you ignored them, it is likely you aren't alone. It sends a message to spammers when a plaza full of people are actively ignoring them.
