Hi "Unholyunion"

I havent been playing this game that long myself,

But as a Newbie:
I would suggest looking at the WIKI, if you haven't already done so.
It can be found at http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Main_Page
In particular the Walkthrough (http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Walkthrough)
I just followed the "Quick Walkthrough" section where I could,
Often having to be content on killing lesser monsters, until I could level up enough to kill the ones suggested in the WIKI.
(This was related to how I allocated the points that I received after each Leveling Up)

In retrospec the "Raising your Stats" section is probably the "most important", part of the walkthrough wiki,
but to me was/is the most difficult to understand.

Basically it seems, that you need to choose whether you want to be an Archer or a Warrior.

From here on it is a matter of personal opinion but:
Both seem to concentrate on raising their DEX points until they can begin to hit their choosen Targets.
VIT is needed as you have to get up close to the monsters in the early stages of the game,
and if VIT isnt high enough they kill you before you can kill them.

After these AGIL increases the speed of attack

Overall I have found that the best help you get is from the other people playing the game, particually the more experienced players,
(usually those wearing the helmets, armor and blue jeans). Often these people are willing to take time out to answer questions,
show you (take you) where something is located on the map, and even help you get started with some of the quests.
I have been 'very fortunate' to have chatted to some of these people, at various stages throughout the game.

The only negative thing, Is that my wrists are starting to get sore from playing the game too much,
but I am trying to limit myself these days - it is great fun.

Good Luck, and if you see me playing anytime, and need any help, just ask me.

Regards

A hint I would give you is to quote only a relevant content. It keeps posts clean and easy to read.
