auto-tagerting/attacking

I've noticed recently while playing tmw that my character automatically targets and attacks the closest target to me. How do i go about fixing this. I would not like to be banned because I went to go get a sandwich and a gm comes along and thinks I'm botting.


P.S. I wouldn't be surprised if this has already been posted. Please don't nag about reposting the same topic. I just wish to hear answers thank you.

Are you using a gamepad (joystick)? Someone else reported that earlier.

no just a regular old keyboard. also this isn't a one time occurrence it happens every time i play the game

that happens to me when i've a usb joystick/gamepad plugged in..
The way i disable it is : Joystick, check Enable joystick, then Ok, i redo the same, but disable joystick and all is ok.

Dunno if it'll work on the keyboard thing, i guess not, but maybe tryin' it just in case

when i pluged my game pad to try i went too in an auto atack frenzy
i wasnt able to pick drops anymore too
i had to unplug game pad and reset client for it to work
