Making the Big Bickies (MONEY!!!)

Ok folks, I must be doing something VERY wrong.
From all the info I can gather from other players, I should have no problem making around the 100kgp per hour in the old mines in the desert south of Tulimshar, but I can hardly manage to make 20k!

I'm wondering if it's my strategy, should I stand in the one spot and let the money come to me, or do I do like i am currently, I march through the mines killing everything in my path, I feel that I kill more marching around, but I'm wondering if that is where I'm going wrong.

Please share your technique with me, for I would truly like to start collecting some rares, it's annoying when people that have been banned for a month for spamming, begging and general PITA are now collecting rares and I'm here scratching around in the dirt for everyday items =(

P.s. This might sound like a stupid question, but am I just looking for Miners Gloves, Boots, Daggers and Miners Hats? or am I missing something?

From the sound of it you're doing everything right. Do notice that drops are random, so you can hit a dry spell barely picking up anything, or you could get lucky and pick up a whole bunch of stuff in a couple of minutes. I never actually tested the money/h profit. 100k means you should get about 120 to 150 drops (leather jackets, gloves, boots, helmets) in one hour. or more then 2 drops a minute. That sounds like allot to me, so people who say you get 100k in an hour are probably exaggerating/boasting. Another thing of course, if you use arrows, and you use allot of them, obviously you'll make a lot less money.

I just don't seem to get many drops. It's quite frustrating.
