Dear fellow tmw-players and tmw-enthusiasts,

I believe that we would have world peace right now if everybody really wanted it. Sadly, some don't, so I think that the least we can do to support peace is to let people know that we do support it. Therefore, my little suggestion is to include the words "Peace please" in every e-mail, forum message and so on that you send, until January the 6th or for as long as you like. The easiest way to do this is probably to add it to your signature.

If you think this is a good idea, feel free to encourage others to do the same.

I don't advocate world peace, as it is truly impossible. Man has fought man for thousands of years from things as simple as a who owns a stick, to things as complex as who rules a country. Man is also incredibly arrogant, and will not accept the beliefs of another without first conceding his own. While your, and the other people who think violence can be ended, intent is good, I just don't see this ever happening.

On top of that, the Book of Revelations states that after 7 years of world peace, will come the end of the world.

Man this and Man that, war, rape, genocide, and killing just for fun are not exclusive to humans. Actually, they are quite common in the animal and insect kingdoms.
