So how much DEX and LUK do you need for Mountain Snakes?

I have 41 luck, 32 dex, it still takes forever to kill the mountain and they still hit 6-24 [I'm level 47 almost 48...]=

Well I was asking for a friend so I don't know really. But I think she meant how much is needed in an area where around 3 or 4 spawn? So you could atleast survive and hit them at the same time and the time it takes doesn't really matter.

In my opinion, you should probably have about 90 evade, 90 accuracy, and atleast 90 defence...

That would help alot.

The big thing that matters is that it takes 48 luck to put yourself out of critical range and avoid taking 149s. Given 48, in order to get criticals of your own you only need to push your DEX up to 27 (or 51/23, 54/19, and so on), but that'll leave you with a very small chance. More DEX will only be more helpful on that front. Plus, it leaves you more likely to get regular hits--mountain snakes are only a bit easier to hit than skulls (170 v. 195 Evade%), and while I don't have that formula yet, each point at least ups your accuracy by some amount, leading you to faster disposal of each snake. Even if you take nothing but 1s, it's still impossible to outpace a prolonged assault from 5 or more snakes with your natural recovery, so faster disposal will allow you to take on larger groups without having to face down more than 4 at once.

There is one map that has one mountain snake. I would train on that one snake even though it was slow. If I got to many critical hits I would move off to an area of that map and recover. I took my time and slowly gained points.

I think that there is a place with like 30+ mountain snakes near MouBoo's..

high lv monsters like mountain snakes requires high dex. As an archer 90+ dex (so less vit most likely) is good. As a warrior I'd say 60+ dex. Don't forget that luck is a factor now and also agility.

DEX helps you hit high lvl monsters, but it doesn't protect you from their high damage..

got 70 dex 35 agi 45 luck and 45vit... it's enough for taking like 4 to 6 snakes hitting you only 1
