This is a new emoticon to express love. My favourite one is number four, but we'll see from the polls. It is possible apparently do have animated smileys, if you want, I can see what I can do to make an animated love emoticon.

how about, rather then a smilie with hearts, just a big heart as emoticon without the face?

that's a good idea, I'll draw a few variations shortly. I'm not sure if it will fit into the "style" though, which is mostly the reason I've chosen the yellow face as a base template.

try exaggerating the pulse, it might also help if the expansion was center rather than going to the right
