selfless acts

Post by sugarcorgit »

I have some pretty firm believes in life. I believe good things happen to good people. I also believe its a trickle down. I want to post an example here today.

Sometime back Steve/L (retired leader to HMC) gifted a golden stinger to me. I remember thinking at the time, gee that was nice but what would be the right home for such an item. Expecting one day it would make sense what the right home was, I carried it around. Many of us have a great love for the setzer quest. Its beautifully written and surely a challenge. When I saw Mieze's post there was no doubt the gift found its home. Dyna and Forge "oiled" that golden stinger in one try. I think it was 4 herbs! I did what I was instructed to do by them of course.

(here comes the selfless part) I didnt ask so I dont really know if Mieze saw my post on the forum or its happened. Shortly after that post Mieze was standing next to me in town. Did he (hope its he Mieze I didnt pay attention) now did he keep that oil, no he didnt he gave it to goll who also has lost his setzer in the same type of accident.

good work everyone

Speaking of selfless acts, I want to thank Sugar for her many acts of selfless assistance. In the 2 years that I have known Sugar, I can not count the number of times she has given away items ranging from simple to very valuable just to help players new and old alike. If there was a hall of immortals, Sugar and Black Don would be my first two votes.

I have known sugarcorgit from the beginning. honestly the way i found this game was a cd with a bunch of Linux games for windows and this was on it, i downloaded it. i went to play it and i got an error because i was not on a network. I realized that it was an online game so i began to kill some maggots finally someone i believe with a mushroom hat just like mine showed me how to get to hurnscald. At the time i thought it was just a dead server. The next person i met was dyna, and then doorsman who helped me get my short-sword. when i got back i was offered help and armor and all of the stuff i enjoy handing out today. looking back sugar was there helping me all along asking them to help me. I also appreciate doorsman. because of this i have devoted my time to selflessness acts and this is also why i think other people have devoted themselves to it. This job is a job for sugarcorgit because she is always at her best doing it. She is not immortal she is just a kind person.

ok so to make it a round thing :))

i have to thx again, because yesterday i got my setzer doing the quest myself and got help again. First try alone results in a big explosion and i died :)

So, just one idea: Could that drop-button be on the right side of the Inventary-Window? That maybee could avade if there is bad lag and anyone want to equip some stuff that he click on the drop-button not on the equip-button...

Thats for sure the wrong place to ask this... but maybe someone knows where it has to be asked, or if it is possible to change that... or if there are reasons to not do so... idk.

All in all just wanted to tell here is that the two unlucky players got a new Setzer and are happy again :)
