Sports.. anyone?

Post by Goku »

So does anyone here like sports..? Which ones?

People who play TMW come from all over the globe so i'd like to get to know some of the popular sports where you live.

I'll get it started.. I live in Dallas, Texas - USA.

Big fan of the Dallas Mavericks (NBA) and Cowboys (NFL). I love both basketball and football. Have not missed a game yet in my life. When they win i'm happy as heck, when they lose.. well let's just say it'll be a bad day.

So anyone else?

Ice-hockey, floorball, athletics, random things available from both winter and summer olympics.

Used to watch F1 before it was nerfed down with a ruleset too complex for its own good.

I like swimming too. But only really watched it in the Olympics. Was so happy for Michael Phelps when he set the record.

And all those sound pretty fun Rotonen. But could you describe Floorball? And is F1 racing?

Floorball is quite fun to play, but not-so-nice to watch because it is so friggin' fast (especially if you don't have a deeper understanding of the game). I actually used to be a floorball goalie.

Nice, stats?

And I understand what you mean. I can barely watch ice hockey on TV. But I bet watching live is a different experience and actually playing would be fun.

I live near Baltimore maryland. home of the great Michael Phelps. :D But since we dont really have a basketball team besides the wizards :( who are usually pretty bad. My favorite sport to watch has to be football, I love the Ravens. I am really excited for this football season since the team looks very promising. I also watch baseball since i played it most of my life but we don't have much of a team to root for. Either the Orioles who are disappointing yet again or the worst team in baseball, the Nationals.
