Making icons can be awesome...

Using watercolors to make tilesets by hand was an awesome idea that didn't turn out.

Cut out an 8 inch x 8 inch piece of canvas or posterboard, paint, and then scan at 64DPI for 512x512 size tileset. Each tile being 2 inches.
That image was resized though

Poster board doesn't carry the medium too well, but doesn't curl up as much as paper.
