[Spoiler] Need Help, Iron Powder Spell

Why can't I get it to work? Practiced it loads of times, switching up spells so it's not the same one every time, but I still go from spell escapes, to "iten" back to spell escapes, etc.

Am I doing something wrong? I've used up so many ore!

You are doing it wrong. Ores are way too expensive to practice with them. Make a HUGE number of life stones and parums (even if they are useless). Making sulphur from ashes (if you know the spell) is also good. They are also transmutations, they are cheaper and they give you magic XP for the iron powder. I did that and I NEVER got anything else but powder from that spell. The first time I ever cast the spell I got 4 powders. And never missed it ever since.

Enchillado is right. Avoid all spoilers if possible. "The spell that makes iron powder" would have done the trick in this case.

Maybe I should have edited the title, but I found out in game and forgot I made this post. The topic was dieing anyway, no posts in over a month.. but thanks for the pointers.

Why remove it? It isn't like you can't go to the wiki page and get all the info about level 1 and 2 spells anyway.

It's true you can get all spells from the wiki if you *chose* to read a spoiler. Some players prefer not to use any spoilers and shouldn't bump into them on the forum. Please change the title.
