Injured Mouboo Quest question [SPOILER]

I found the injured Mouboo...and I dont killed the mouboo...

If I examine the mouboo, I get the message that the mouboo is lying on top of what appears to be a black turtleneck sweater, but if i want pick it up, it dont work, the mouboo groans and pushes my hand away .

1st question: Is there any quest option to get the black turtleneck sweater?

2nd question: I could give the injured Mouboo a apple, a water-bottle and large healing potion...anything else?

Killing the mouboo lets you get the black turtleneck sweater.

I don't know what Sagatha will think of you, however...

Something similar is needed in another quest, but that shouldn't do anything with the injured mouboo NPC...


I gave it the Large healing potion, personally (which does cure it)

Yes, you can get it after killing the mouboo if you choose to do so, but think very, very carefully before doing that, since that will take you down the evil path of magic (and Sagatha will never forgive you.)

Killing the mouboo (or injuring the sick tree - this is a spoiler, right?) will make you lose all nature magic forever as there is nothing you can do to make things all right with Sagatha again (there is a nice "natural armor spell" you might not want to miss and also who knows what other future spells of higher magic lvl). I didn't get the black turtle neck either.

Giving the mouboo a large healing potion instantly heals it without any hugs, kisses or spells, but the turtleneck is lost forever. How about creating a dummy new character to kill that mouboo and trade the turtleneck to you if you feel you really need it? You can delete that character afterwards. I know, I'm evil-thinking and all pink cute little girls will disrespect me forever. I feel that black turtle neck's prices will suddenly drop after this post... And it makes me feel happy.

Later edit: Actually, a lvl 1 is too weak to kill the mouboo, sick as it is, so the devs thought about this (congrats!) I'm working on it though...

Why would anyone kill the mouboo for the sweater which is a dime a dusin (its easy to get a black turtleneck sweater).

Unless you of course WANT to be an evil mage, then sure I understand..

An evil mage is something interesting, but I'm not sure if there is a suitable alternative to being a "good" mage right now. If there isn't, choosing to be evil is, you know... just dumb.

As for the *black* turtle neck, well, never under-estimate our local fashion junkies when we are talking about how much they are willing to pay for some useless crap. Dyes are usually expensive and I think black is one of the expensive ones (I'm too lazy to look it up).

Well, I searched the source code. You need at least lvl 45 to be able to kill the mouboo. Absolutely not cost-efficient to advance a character just to get the turtleneck... The price is safe again... Dammit!
