Just a remark:
When a game gains more players it is not because of the work of the GMs.
The developers are responsible for that.
Its up to the GMs whether people decide to leave or to stay.

If this is so hard:
Let's shut down the server and only let devs to the new test server to test bugs until the game is complete.
This is starting to drain our resources of actually making the game. Both time and mental effort are running out.

It was everything fine when there was one Platyna & one Rotonen to deal with community issues and open server, and there were developers who were developing and programming, instead messing up with the community and chosing GMs.
I don't like the fact Jaxad, who is supposed to be coding the game, is now made a server admin.
We had pretty nice organization like a year ago:
Under Bjorn's control:
- Programmers were programming...
- Artists were drawing...
Under Platyna's control:
- Moderators were moderating...
- GMs were dealing with the community.
- Server was crashing maybe once a month. :twisted:
But it was too good. So it had to be destroyed, those who wanted more power (e.g. Jaxad and Crush) were digging and digging, so two friends who basicaly were keeping this project when Elven became inactive, now hates each other.
The efects are visible. This is not TMW anymore.

It is not only black and white. The community has now at least three times as many players as when Platyna left - 1000 a day. I'm not saying that it is because the current GMs/system is so much better or anything. But the number of players is a factor that mustn't be ignored when talking about what became of the game...

Huh? The increase of players since I left is neglible (which is also interesting, he, he). We had 100-120 online most of the day anyway. What are you trying to pull here? That the old system wouldn't handle 20 players more online?

I had the empression that it were 100 more than before. As far as I remember there were 50 online on average. But I can be mistaken.
The reason why I'm saying this is that I often feel you seem to forget the increase of the number of players and to include it in your posts. It was just a detection. Not an evaluation of the fact that we have more players now.

As for the server crashing more, we have more people on. We're more popular and it has attracted elements that like to have fun crashing the server. We've also been experimenting with new features, like the magic system, which has a bug that is extremely hard to track, especially since it's only happening on the main server (like a lot of bugs, which is a fact you keep denying).
