I've tried everything and I can't seem to figure out how to get out of this building in the game!

Feel free to laugh at me as needed but don't forget to tell me how to get the heck back to the rest of the game.

Client version? Which building? Is your data up to date (the updates that run after you login)?

The client is 0.0.29.1 I'm not sure which building but it has an NPC named Tyer inside. Everything is updated.

If your character's level is too low, you won't be able to enter part of the building and use the exit there. It's intentional.

No. The west entrance (that leads back to Tulimshar) works fine even if you can't get to the east entrance.
