I like meway's hair style more and would probably make a character with his hairstyle than the other, similar one we have now. I think the one that is similar to meway's is more feminine than what I'd like to have for a male character.

In my opinion, if there's no technical limitation on the number of hairstyles then having both would be nice, more diversity. I think those two hairstyles are not the same by far. The hair is longer in the second model and the punkiness is a different style.

I think there are already some hairstyles that look like each other much more than those two... for example these:




I don't think that any of them needs to be replaced, because even while looking a bit similar, the hair is still in a different direction and shape, they still bring some variety.
