Re: Any good online linux mag?
Oiii "Linux" "Linux" The base system should be called GNU/Linux because Linus Torvalds did not write the system which the Linux kernel uses.
Tutorials and information:
The Linux Documentation Project
http://www.gnu.org/software/[component-name]
http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/
Tech:
Lemote Yeeloong, Neo Free Runner, maybe some Nokia phones, maybe Google Android. LACLinux, GP2X Wiz, Dell might yet release something with GPL-and-compatible only software.
There are some magazines and journals that talk about "Linux" in the same context as proprietary tech, some that talk about "open source", and some that talk about "free software" only. There might also be distribution-oriented magazines. Debian and Fedora derivatives get most the attention. TMW has devs who use Qt and like KDE environments. The forum and game host likes Slackware. There are some who like the BSD kernel. And maybe some who hope to see the completion of GNU's microkernel.
...or just hang out with hackers.
