Basically, you have to practice spells that give you MagicXP (See http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Magic_Spells ). Practice means doing one spell (say, #kalmurk) and then another spell (say, #lum ). You couldn't just repeatedly cast #kalmurk because the spells have to be alternated. After you have leveled you magic up enough (use #abizit to check) you touch the mana seed again and you will have level 2 magic.

You need to have 50 Lifestones and 50 Knifes. Say 50 times #lum then #chiza. It looks like:
