TMW for iphone

Hello all,
Been a long time since I played last because i was getting a little bored. Just wanted to show off how much more awesome this game just got.

Controls work alright if you can stick to mostly point and click for attacking/pickups. The one problems is messaging other players. The only way i have figured out how to do it is to whisper them because the game does no pick up when you hit return, so you will need to click on a player and whisper them. Kinda sucks (especially if the gms are bot checking you). I'd like to see more come from this and if anyone has any ideas of how to the "enter" to type to work let me know. All other key commands work like S to sit.

I'll see if i can set talk from enter to another key and maybe it will work.

This would not be all that hard, copy most of the client code. Redo it on to the iphone SDK. Delete what does not work, change a few words, and try it on your jail broken phone.



But there is only one itty, bitty, problem.

1.) As kage already said, the phone will be jail broken.
2.) Apple will ban anything thing like this from ever getting close to finish product.
3.) The cost off finishing the project would be too costly.

You are better off going to the mobile android. Nexus one could easily run this game.

I would like to see this working better but im fine with just point and click. My phone is jailbroken and im running a vnc server on my computer. Then using the vnc client on the iphone to bring up the terminal and you can do the rest from there. The refresh rate is pretty good (pretty good for tmw not other games). Again its nothing special, just thought it was fun and i will probably be playing more when im on the train now.

Also, i believe there is a vnc app for non jailbroken iphones that you can pay for and do this same thing.

So it doesn't ACTUALLY run on the iPhone... it just interfaces with the iPhone
